Description

The CDA is a nationally recognized credential awarded to a person who demonstrates competence in caring for young children by successfully completing the CDA self-study, training and assessment process. It is the most widely recognized credential in the Early Childhood Profession. Session activities will cover the eight CDA subject areas, the six CDA competency standards and all thirteen CDA functional areas. Participants will be guided in the development of their professional portfolio. This series of workshops (70 hours) can be used to apply for the CDA Credential. This is a training to prepare CDA candidates to meet the requirements for applying for their CDA credential.
