Description

Red Cross certification class for Community and Child Care Program Staff helping participants recognize and respond appropriately to choking, breathing, cardiac and first aid emergencies (including use of EPI Pen). Hands on interactive class teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until advanced medical personnel arrive. Class addresses importance of prevention, emergency preparedness and required OCFS documentation of incident required for Child Care Staff. A non certificate class is also offered for parent(s) and caregivers of infants and young children teaching relief of choking skills and child infant CPR
