You have various roles in fostering children?s development and learning. You also fulfill a management role within your setting- even though you are not an administrator, director, or principal. Consider your prime responsibilities: configuring the learning environment, planning your day, implementing the curriculum, assessing and documenting children?s learning, and evaluating both children?s learning and the setting?s successes. We will explore the managerial tasks that early educators need to perform to work successfully and effectively with young children.
