Description

One of the main reasons a person does not respond during an emergency is due to lack of training and fear of causing additional harm to the injured. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificate program is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives. This course provides New York State child care providers with the training to meet the requirement to maintain current certification in infant and child CPR and in first aid.
