Description

4 hour American Red Cross certified training which uses video, written skill handouts, discussion and demonstration to educate childcare providers who care for any age child. It also teaches adult emergency care which may be needed to care for staff. Topics covered include: caring for victims of cardiac and breathing emergencies, shock, seizures, high fevers, fractures, head trauma, bleeding, severe heat/cold illness, burns and stroke. There is no prerequisite for taking this class.
