Dr. Tamara Pelosi has twenty-five years of experience working with populations ages three to eighteen, along with their families. Within the twenty-five years of her career she earned her Doctorate of Education in Youth and Family Studies with a concentration in Special Education. Her doctoral dissertation was titled “Increasing Social-Emotional Skills in Aggressive Preschoolers by Training Preschool Teachers in an Improved Teaching Methodology.” For over a year she was dedicated to the study of why children had challenging behaviors and what were the functions of those behaviors. This research helped her to create intervention strategies and prevention techniques for a comprehensive 14hr teacher training program titled “Recipe for Creating a Peaceful Classroom.”
