Description

Child care providers play a special role in the lives of children. A major part of a provider's role is to keep children safe. One way providers can keep children safe is by recognizing the signs of abuse. In this training we will discuss the role of the mandated reporter. We will also review the summary guide for mandated reporters. Participants will identify indictors of child abuse and maltreatment/neglect and learn the procedure for making reports of suspected child abuse and maltreatment/neglect.
